Objective: Learn how to practice in your free time: skills, tips, strategies
Most of us spend a lot of time on the Internet during the day, right?
We check our e-mail and various social networks like Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn almost every day! Some people read or watch the news on the Internet, read articles that interest them, and watch videos on YouTube.
So, if we spend so much time on the Internet… why not combine that time with practicing a bit of English?
How can we do that? Change the official language on your social media and your e-mail to English. We already know what the buttons and functions are—let’s learn them in English! You can even change your phone into English to learn more vocabulary!
As for videos, YouTube has lots of great, short videos and almost always with subtitles. So, no matter your level or your time limit, you can practice your listening (even on the train on the way to work)!
Most articles and websites have the option of changing the language to English. Click the little flag (usually in the top-right corner) and keep practicing!
