ever tell you the story of when I went to the Tomatina?<\/em><\/li>\n<li>what happens in a book or movie (also called the plot)<br \/>\n<em>The book tells the story of Albert Einstein\u2019s childhood.<\/em><br \/>\n<em>The movie tells the sad story of the death of Martin Luther King, Jr.<\/em><\/li>\n<li>a fable, a fairytale, or an anecdote<br \/>\n<em>I love the story of Alice in Wonderland.<\/em><br \/>\n<em>Have you ever heard the story of Peter Pan?<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><strong>Note:<\/strong> <em>stories<\/em> can be true or not true.<\/p>\n<p>The word <strong>story<\/strong> is <strong>countable<\/strong> (one story, two stories, many stories, few stories).<\/p>\n<p>Also, we always use the verb <strong>tell<\/strong> with stories.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h3><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"So_what_about_history\"><\/span><strong>So, what about history?<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<h3><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"History_is\"><\/span><strong>History is<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>the truth about a country, a culture, or people (the history of Australian Aborigines, the history of the Spanish Monarchy)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Note:<\/strong> <em>history<\/em> is generally considered true.<\/p>\n<p>The word <strong>history<\/strong> is <strong>uncountable<\/strong> (The history, much history)<\/p>\n<p><strong>History<\/strong> is a school subject.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h3><span class=\"ez-toc-section\"
